Applications due to the A-403 Serial Turkish Citizenship Law's article 6th. and 7th.;
1. Please fill out the Form petition and sign it.
(Make sure that the petition form is readable.) You do not need to get authorized and transferred your petition from the local governor house.
2- All pages of the Residential Permit must be copied two pieces and the copies must be approved by the notary public.
( Starting from your application date, you must have at least 6-months-long residential permit, if your permit shorter than 6 months, you must apply for the extention period before appliying citizenship)
3- Notary authorized Turkish translation of your passport,
4- Birth certificate, maritial status paper; if you are single, divorced, widow or married please submit a document about your status. All documents must be apostille certified from the person's own country consulate and İstanbul Governorship Law Department. If you are divorded please add a sample of divorce verdict the court.
5- If you are married with a Turkish citizen, a sample of civil registration which includes the person with whom you are married.
6- If any of your parents is a Turkish citizen, please add their sample of civil registration.
7- If you are student in Turkey, a paper about your studentship staus, if you are graduated, your diploma. If you have not attended any school in Turkey, a Turkish speaker paper from the local Public Education Center, a department of the Ministry of National Education. (Person must be transferred from the National Directorate of Education to the Education Center) A complete health report from the board of a fully equipped government hospital. (the person should be transferred with the health paper from the health directorate of the city).
8- If the person is being employed, an official document about his work status, copy of the work permit. If he is not working, official work papers of the care giver person. Also, a notary authorized commitment letter which says that care giver will be responsible for the all livelihood, expenses of the applicant. Work document is required.
9- Either the person himself or the care giver is registered by any social security corporation, a document which is proving that they have paid premium for the last six months period. (This document is not mandatory however, if you submit it, this is in the favorof the applicant himself)
10- If the person has a relative holding Turkish citizenship, their sample of civil registration,
11- Notary authorized translation of the birth document's of the Children under 18. Birth report and mernis birth form for the children who is born in Turkey. If the children was born outside Turkey, apostille certified birth documents from the mother country.
12- It is in the favor of the applicant if he submit a document which says that their originality is Turkish. Their originality documents must be from their country and apostille certified. Persons with different originality do not need to submit origin document.
13- Residential Stay Counting Document which can be obtained from the Foreigners Branch Directorate Department of City Central Police Station, must be submitted.
14- Relevant to application of Turkish citizenship, after collecting and preparing carefully the documents mentioned above and they should be checked by the responsible officer then 10.00 TL (subject to change) fee of the application should be deposited to the account of Ministry of Civil and Citizenship Works, Circulation Capital Directorate. The account number will be specified by our directorate.

2-All pages of the Residential Permit must be copied two pieces and the copies must get approved by the notary public.
( Starting from your application date, you must have at least 6-months-long residential permit, if your permit shorter than 6 months, you must apply for the extention period before appliying citizenship).
3- Notary authorized Turkish translation of your passport,
4- Base document for the marriage,
5- Sample of civil registration paper of the spouse (from the civil registration directorate)
6- Relevant to application of Turkish citizenship, after collecting and preparing carefully the documents mentioned above and they should be checked by the responsible officer then 10.00 TL (subject to change) fee of the application should be deposited to the account of Ministry of Civil and Citizenship Works, Circulation Capital Directorate. The account number will be specified by our directorate.
NOTICE: There must be one original and a copy of each document.
