According to the 6th and 7th articles of the Turkish Citizen Law, to be eligible for the Turkish Citizenship application, person(s) must reside in Turkey continuously for 2 years or 5 years respectively to their Turkish or foreign origin.

Any failure in extending the residence permit (for 6 months)and leaving Turkey more than 6 months during this term, will result in denial of your application.

Besides, applications of person staying for educational, temporary residence, travel, student accompanying reasons, will not be accepted.

1. Applicants must have a valid 6-month-long-residence permit from the date of application. If applicant have a permit for a shorter period of time, then he/she must get it extended before the application.

2. Applicant must prove his/her willing with the attitudes.

3. Applicant must be older than 18, at full legal age.

4. Applicant must a good moral values.

5. Applicant should not carry any diseases threaten public health.

6. Applicant must speak enough Turkish to express his/her wills.

7. Applicant must be able support himself and his dependants with any income or occupancy.

8. Information of passport, passport translation and residence permit must be consistent.

Applications according to the 5^th article of B-403 law;

Applicant must be married with a Turkish citizen and should have been married at least for 3 years.
